Kim Hoover · 43:47 We really want to send Daisy in spring. Depends on when hubby gets back to work. We started an e-collar on her while I'm not here.
Jodi McManaway · 20:16 I try to tell people to think of themselves as the dog's coach. Some people have such a hard time because they think everything is "mean" or they feel sorry for the dog. Big mistake.

Kim Hoover · 37:22 Everything with crutches is non-negotiable. So Dozer is doing great with his place command. But Daisy is all over the place. So we're nervous about Dozer going after Daisy while my hubby is by himself. Suggestions?
Angie Verbeten Boehnlein · 16:42 My dog barks like crazy at the neighbor dog everytime he sees it outside. Is there a way to stop this? He likes the neighbor dog, and wants to usually go outside and play with it.
Jodi McManaway · 36:07 Do you do pack introductions for new dogs? Why or why not?

Jen Howe · 51:02 I want my dachshund to bark when someone is at the door. I live in a secluded area and it is his job to let me know when someone is at my house. He calms down when I respond and tell him it's okay. Is it okay for me to allow this behavior?
Jodi McManaway · I know the answer to that. Yes. If that's what you want him to do, bark and then calm down at your command, it is perfectly fine. :)
Jodi McManaway · 17:40 You would think that would be understood - that the dog needs a human that will continue the work after the dog has been with you.
Elaine Covert · 29:08 What are some signs that a dog is stressed from being yelled at.
Rick Schaffer · 4:16 Merry Christmas and have a safe but Happy New Year. Thanks for all you did for our Shepherd Dusty!
Kristin P. Behring · 39:25 So I have been talking to a woman with a fearful dog. Came from a rescue ,a Australian Sheppard. I've walked with her... if you come too close she cowers. It's been six months and I don't see much progress. The dog side eyes me the whole time we walk. When i have a foster I dont engage with her because she will poop if we push her
Shane Whelchel · 48:52 Our boxer mix has recently begun to bark at people walking down the street or vehicles passing by. She will stand at the window and bark. I will shh her to make her stop but she will walk away from the window "growling and moaning". Sometimes I will have to stand up to make her leave the window. Is there something we are doing wrong to create this behavior?
Kim Hoover · 34:21 But he's home with the dogs. So now he's Dozer's new bff
Kristin P. Behring · 11:17 Mouthy pups... I say no or growl or put a toy in her mouth

Jodi McManaway · 0:00 I have a 6 month old Shiba Inu staying with me for Christmas. The breed has a very strong instinct to run away and not return... worse than hounds I hear. With the right training do you think she could ever be off leash. The owners have had a hard time...See More
